Planning an Initial HFOSS Learning Activity

Brief description of the activity

  1. Getting students to be connected to the developer communities through channels/email lists/etc (http://foss2serve.org/index.php/Open_Source_Communication_Activity_version2)
  2. Identify a mode of communication and lurk/review over a period of time and then characterize its use.
  3. Given a scenario find an example of a communication in one of the media and analyze it.
  4. Community conventions for use of communication media (create a flowchart or some other diagram)
